2011 Gettysburg May Bluegrass Festival
One of America's favorite family fun campgrounds, Granite Hill offers modern RV and tent camping, both open and wooded, hookups for over 300 units, modern bath houses with showers and laundrys, all within an easy walk of our main stage and workshop stage. Electric service includes 20 amp, 30 amp, and a limited number of 50 amp sites. Cable TV is aslo available at some sites. There is plenty for the kids to enjoy too, like the stocked trout pond, a fabulous Adventure Golf Course, playgrounds, tennis court, game room, boating lake, and there is even a giant sand pile for the toddlers just a few feet main stage left! And on warm summer days you can even watch the show from our beautiful swimming pool, several paces main stage right! There is permanant snack bar & grill on site, plus many specialty food and merchadise vendors arrive for the festivals. A well stocked camp store for camping and RV supplies, light groceries, souvenirs, and the little item you forgot to bring. Our helpful staff will make sure you are comfortable and would be glad to arrange local or regional sightseeing or, of course, a Battlefield Tour right from camp. Plan a few extra camping days either before or after the festival and enjoy Granite Hill and the Gettysburg Area. For non-campers, Granite Hill offers a limited number of beautiful Camping Cabins that sleep up to six people each. The Gettysburg area has numerous motels, hotels and bed & breakfasts convenient to the festival site, and FREE DAY PARKING for folks using those accommodations or commuting from home. See the "Lodging" page for a list of area accommodations. The following discount daily camping rates are offered for the May and August, 2009 festival ticket holders, from the previous Sunday through the following Sunday night. Please note that these rates are Per Vehicle and require each person camping to hold the appropriate weekend ticket valid through Sunday (no camping permitted with single day tickets)
Discounted Festival camping rates applies Sunday though Sunday nights during festival week only (May 9-16th and August 15-22nd). Camping fees are quoted "per vehicle" to encourage car pooling, and the only exception to the extra car charge is when a hookup site is occupied by NO MORE THAN TWO ADULTS. All campers must hold a weekend ticket and register until Sunday. Some hookup sites available for advance reservation; others and all tent and rough camping are first come-first served. As with ticket purchases, all camping fees are NON- REFUNDABLE.
